Partner Spotlight: Safe Haven Family Shelter

NeedLink Nashville is a proud partner of Safe Haven Family Shelter. For over 30 years, Safe Haven Family Shelter has been the answer for families experiencing homelessness with proactive programs, evidence based practices and trauma informed care. Together, we both play a key role in education and advocacy addressing this community-wide issue.
Safe Haven is the only shelter-to-housing program of its kind in Middle Tennessee that accepts the entire homeless family. While keeping the family together, Safe Haven provides comprehensive services that empower all families to achieve lasting self-sufficiency. Safe Haven helps families experiencing homelessness by providing for their immediate needs of shelter and stability.

Safe Haven's housing first model, coupled with wrap around services is designed to give families the necessary tools to achieve lasting self-sufficiency, stable employment and secured housing.

NeedLink and Safe Haven work collaboratively to design a plan of action customized to each client. Whether NeedLink can use their resources to prevent a family from becoming homeless or Safe Haven can work through more intensive issues impacting the family's stability, both have an end goal of ensuring all have safe and secure housing.
